Health and Social Welfare Publications

John trained as a psychiatric nurse and has worked in community based mental health and disability programs for many years. This has given him a working knowledge of health and welfare service delivery and a strong awareness of the issues involved in publishing information and resources for particular target groups.

He has designed and illustrated many brochures, posters, books and resources for commonwealth, state and local governments, district health services, non-government welfare agencies, universities, educational publishers and schools.

John established Qcards in 2010. Qcards publishes card-based health and educational resources such as The Bear Cards. Qcards continues to develop more ideas and is currently working on 3 new card projects.
